Silent Movie

Silent Movie is an After Effects silent film template for creating a vintage movie sequence with intertitles, sepia styling and classic film damage. Use it for short films, wedding videos, music videos, cinematic presentations or other projects that need an old-movie look.

Add your own footage, then customize the 12 video placeholders and 12 text placeholders to build a complete silent-film sequence. You can also use the included compositions to apply scratches, hairs, flicker, defocus, vignetting and sepia tone to your own footage. No plugins are required.

Customize your silent-film titles and footage

Edit the intertitles and change their wording to fit your story. The decorative flourishes are created with fonts, so you can adjust that typography as well. The help file includes the free-font information and explains the customization and export workflow.
